AeroLiner3000 wins the German Design Award 2018 for Excellent Product Design.
Jury statement:
“The bright, dynamic design of the AeroLiner 3000 communicates high-tech and the future externally as well as internally. The large windows with their striking struts let abundant light into the spacious passenger cabin, which is further enhanced by the light-coloured furnishings. An extremely high-quality concept and an intelligent use of space that meet the passengers’ need for light and openness perfectly.”
Today, the winners of the German Design Award 2018 were honoured at the award ceremony in the Forum der Messe Frankfurt. More than 1,300 invited guests from business, politics and the media were there.
The German Design Award is the award of the prestigious Rat für Formgebung (German Design Council). Established on the initiative of the German Bundestag (the lower house of German parliament) as a foundation in 1953, it supports the industry in all matters consistently aimed at generating an added brand value through design. As a result, the German Design Council is one of the world’s leading competence centres for communication and brand management in the field of design. The exclusive network of foundation members includes in addition to designers and design associations, in particular the owners and brand directors of numerous renowned companies.
