AV Studio congratulates Switzerland for the challenging and successful achievement to complete the longest rail tunnel of the world! This is not about making world records, but the prime incentive of the Swiss public to build that tunnel, was to reduce pollution and carbon emissions by taking goods shipping back and forth in Europe from the road to rail. This is in strong relation with another sustainable Swiss world record on the way: To fly around the Earth by solar energy: Solar Impulse.
