La ‘Macchina di Santa Rosa di Viterbo’ is listed as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage. The event ‘la Macchina di Santa Rosa di Viterbo’, currently represented by ‘FioredelCielo’, designed by Architecture and Vision (Arturo Vittori and Andreas Vogler) has been newly listed as UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage and thus has been defined as an essential component and a monument of cultural diversity and creative expression. Experts from the UN cultural organisation, gathered this week in the Azerbaijan capital Baku, said Viterbo’s ‘Macchina di Santa Rosa’, with its rites and its presentation, fulfilled the conditions for featuring on the list.
